EMA can be your girlfriend as well. You might be thinking who EMA is. Actually, EMA stands for Eternal Maiden Actualization. E.M.A. It (or should I say she?) is a fifteen-inch tall battery-powered beauty that can sing, dance and “walk like a lady”. The most interesting feature of this robot girlfriend is its “kiss function”. If your head comes close to the robot, its love mode kicks in and you’ll receive a kiss.

According to Sega Toys, the maker of EMA, they are targeting adults in particular with this lady-like robot and hopes to sell 10,000 units in 12 months.

E.M.A. will go on sale for about $175 in September, 2008. So would you get one for yourself? This makes me wonder when they would come up with a robot-like boyfriend. I’m just kidding, I would rather stick with the real thing.
