Among the seafood recipes that are being introduced to me by friends and relatives, the one that I could claim to be the most mouthwatering is the crab cooked with coconut mlk. I liked it more when it is served spicy.  I am not an expert in cooking but I do know a few techniques just by hanging out in the kitchen when someone more knowledgeable is preparing the meal so that I could ask for some tips and information. When I could master this recipe, you might just see me as one of the chef wannabees in the Great American Seafood Cook off. But before I would be joining this event, I think I would need to learn more or I could also consider going to a culinary school (yes, I am that serious!). Who knows, I could emerge as the winner in that Cook off. What’s exciting about this event? Well, it will be action packed with cooking demonstration from experienced chefs.

For those who are interested to join the said culinary competition, it will be held on Aug 2-3 at the New Orleans Morial Convention Center. The challenge is to produce the most delicious domestic sustainable seafood. That sounds really yummy! Nothing beats a dish that is cooked with local and fresh seafood.
