Blogging can take a lot of our time but since it’s my passion, I stay online for long hours to update my blog. Sometimes, this would even mean sleeping very late just to complete my post and do other things online. We have to admit that this hobby is very addicting but we also need to balance our priorities. If only I could type a lot faster, I would be able to complete more task in a given span of time.

I can type around 40 words per minute but sometimes too much typing and posting can make my hands really tired. But I recently learned that there’s a way for us complete an article without even using the keyboard. This can be done by using our voice together with a software such as Dragon Naturally Speaking 10 Standard. For those who are not familiar with Dragon Naturally speaking, it is a speech recognition software package developed by Dragon Systems, and sold by Nuance Communications for Windows personal computers (PCs). The version 9 allows you to transcribe with your voice. This can make you complete your articles 3 times faster compared to being able to type 40 words per minute.

Last August 7, 2008, the makers of the said software has released the Dragon Naturally Speaking 10 Preferred. Since this is a more advanced version, it allows you to to compose with your voice. This would surely benefit bloggers like me. Aside from the fact that it saves your time, it makes typing articles very convenient.
