When I was young, I came across a book entitled Black Beauty. The narrator of the story is a handsome black horse named Black Beauty.  It is an autobiographical memoir about his carefree days and the challenges that he met along the way. 

This novel by s Anna Sewell became a recognized best-seller.  According to what I read, this book was orginally intended for people who work with horses. However, the book became popularly known as achildren’s classic novel.

Since this book was orginally intended for horse lovers, I think it will make a nice gift for your equestrian friends. You can give it to people that you know has interest in horses.
