The word imeldific was coined after former Philippine First Lady Imelda Marcos. She is popular for holding a Guinness World Record for the largest shoe collection. The pairs of shoes that I have may never go near her 3,000 pairs but I do crave for shoes like she does. Sometimes, when I get bored, I browse online for shoes, and more shoes. I like the simple design of this Naot shoes. This comfy sandal is made of white leather.  I think it’s nice for everyday use.

One of my college buddies took up interior designing. I got interested with what she is doing when I watch her finish her projects. Although I do not have plans to become a professional interior designer like her, the knowledge she shared me were really priceless.It awaken the inner artist in me. Since then, I had great interest with Asian interior designs.  She shared me a lot of informaion about Zen minimalist interiors and Persian interiors.

When I think of Persian interiors, what comes to mind are those exquisite Persian rugs. I think it has been a notion that Persian rugs are quite expensive. However, if you are resourceful enough, you’d be able to find cheap rugs which are equally beautiful. I came across a site, superiorrugs.com, that sells affordable area rugs. They sell man made silk rugs which would surely add class to your home.

Here are the designs that caught my attention. I really love their vibrant colors. For sure, if you have one of these at your house, you’d receive a lot of compliments from your visitors.  If given a choice, I would also like to have one in my bedroom. I can walk barefoot and would love every minute of it as I feel the softness and nice texture of these rugs on my feet.
