Halo-halo (from Tagalog word halò, “mix”) is a popular Filipino dessert that is a mixture ofshaved ice and evaporated milk to which are added various boiled sweet beans and fruits, and served in a tall glass or bowl.

Whenever it’s summer time here in the Philippines, there’s an increase in the demand of my favorite desert. That’s because it’s really hot here! My sister decided to open a “halo-halo stall” here in our area. They are selling like hot pancakes.
