I asked my mother what she wants for Christmas. She said she wanted a laptop. I am glad I asked her early because I would have to save up for a gift like that. She said I don’t have to get her one. She can live without it but it will be nice to have one.  I don’t think she’s expecting me to give her a laptop for Christmas.

But of course, I want to make my mother happy. I have been looking for laptops online. I will be saving up in order to get a nice laptop for my mother.
