I opened a savings account at Banco De Oro last Monday. The initial deposit is Php 5,000 for a peso savings account with atm card and passbook. I was asked for two valid ID’s, and a 1×1 photo, and of course the initial deposit.

I was told to come back after a few days to receive my atm card but that, I would do tomorrow. Since I have a new savings account, I am more inspired to save for rainy days. I want to see big bucks whenever I open my passbook.

At the moment, my friend and I are staying at the Clipper Hotel. Actually, I am using their WiFi right now for free. The WiFi connection is slow on the second floor but it’s really fast here on the first floor. We got a superior room which has the basic amenities. It has tv, ac, nice twin beds and bathroom amenities. The room is clean and comfortable.

What I like most about the hotel is their helpful staff. It’s near convenience stores such as Ministop and 7-eleven. It’s a quick taxi-ride away from Glorietta, Greenbelt and SM Makati. The cost of stay in this hotel is also very reasonable. If you are looking for a place to stay, I would surely recommend this hotel.
